Today’s Topic: SUMMERTIME AND THE LIVIN IS - moderately - EASY

Finding a middle ground in an over-the-top world.

Ahh…Summer. We wake up, stretch, and smile as we see the sun peeking through the curtains. We feel relaxed and happy….until the to-do list hits our thoughts and suddenly we are hit with an intense need to begin the day and check off the task list.

I’ve been thinking a lot about moderation lately. As I was on my morning walk before diving into a whirlwind day of tasks, I thought out loud to no-one:

“What if we all dared to be a little more average?”

Think about it - everything runs on extremes nowadays. We even use the term “binge watch” to watch our favorite television shows. If one of something tastes good, the whole bag is sure to taste better. Even the way we absorb information is all-consuming.


I say let’s ease up on that pedal! You don’t always have to do ALL. THE. THINGS.

How much is too much? How can we turn obsessive behaviors into harmonious ones. How can we develop habits that force us to moderate ourselves. when we find balance we are happier and more content. Kelli offers tips and tricks to moderate in our everyday lives. Our appetites, and even our sleep habits all have an effect on the way we feel.

Replacing bad habits with good ones and establishing healthy routines for living moderately is easier when you have an intention and a plan on how to do it. For those of you who’ve read my book, you know getting older gracefully is all about education and intention, my blog relentlessly preaches on having a plan and setting boundaries with ourselves.
